I live in central tx about an hour north of Austin.... Some friends of mine used to have an F Body club for camaros and Trans Ams.... They used to have a little events and stuff and would meet one night a week to discuss club events and things they where doing to their cars and stuff... They had around 100 members at one time and I must admit it was pretty impresive to see that many camaros and ta's in one place and any place they went it always drew lots of attention from the onlookers.... Just thought it would be cool to do something like that with a vett club or something here in central tx.....

That is cool. We've started a club in town here for Corvettes and owners. Had some big rallys and meetings which is always impressive to look at and gets some attention. We're about 15 cars strong and 2 years running. Trying to get bigger and better too, but it's tough.

07C6NTX, I am in Killeen. I bought my C6 from Grand Chevrolet (Connell Chevrolet of Copperas Cove) back in June. Are you the guy who just bought A C6 from them this month? I'd PM you, but sadly I am moving to Kansas next week.
I'd definitely check out the club Taanders mentioned. I just met a guy named Earl two weeks ago who introduced the club to me but I found out too late to attend a meeting.

I got mine from Gunn Chevrolet in SA last month... Just looking for some vette owners to hang out with.... Thats funny you said you are moving to Kansas... I will be moving there also some time later this year... Manhattan to be exact...

At the top of the page; click on "Forums"(red reversed print), that gives you a pull down menu, move the cursor to "Events and Regional" which gives you another pull down, move the cursor to "Southwest" and click on it. Lots of Texas info, Austin Area meets, clubs, etc.
