how to install it "window wallet"

I tried to install the window wallet but nothing happens. Is possible that someone can help me. Must I upgrade the firmware in my C5 1999.

This is the C6 section. Maybe if you posted this in C5 general you'd get more help.

I have a window valet in my C6. What are you trying to do? Install it and need to know where to plug it in? Or is it installed and nothing works?

Did you read the instruction manual? It's fairly easy to setup. The C5 should be similar to the C6 configuration. Not identical, but similar enough.

Hi again
I have plugged the wallet into odb2 contact. Then Manual says press DIC and the door unlock button on drivers side at the same time. After i have done that nothing happens. Just a couple of beep tone.

According to the C5 valet manual the tach should read 1000rpm when it's in configuration mode. You can also press reset three times in all but the earliest C5.

I have the C6 valet so mine requires me to press unlock six times in a row to get into the configuration options. I guess yours is different.
