Default Speed Tracks

Gentlemen And Ladies,
I'm new to the world of corvettes. Got my first one 3 weeks ago. Where are these speed tracks every one talks about. I live in Delaware and would like to put my car thru some speed but our speed limit are 65. Any ideas. I don't want to race and I don't want to do 150mph but I would like to go 100 to 120 mph.
Thanks

There is a driving school at Pocono Speedway April 21 and 22 hosted by the Cumberland Valley Corvette Club (www.cvcc-vette.com) . Would also recommend you go the the National Council of Corvette Clubs website, click on East Division and find yourself a local club. Also on that site, you can go to the calendar and see what else my be scheduled. Good luck.

Lone Star Classic corvette meet at the Texas Motor Speedway May 18-20. They let you out on the track in groups of 12-15 vettes and can run at 120 MPH with 3-4 carlengths between cars. No passing allowed or hanging back from the cars in front of you so you can run faster then 120 MPH to catch up. It's super great going around the 180 degree corners banked at 26 degrees. They also let you run on the infield road course. You get one spin out free, the second one gets you kicked off the course. This is a great meeting of corvette owners. www.lonestarcorvette.com

If your willing to take a road trip to Wisconsin, Road America hosts many club sponsored HSDE's. I attended the Mid-West F-Body Association HSDE last Oct. 2 full days at Road America. Cost $350. I had a ball. They are accepting applications for the April event @ http://roadamerica.fbody.us/

You can also hook into Performance Drivers Association. They run at Pocono. This should easliy get you into your desired speed range.
PDA is in Clifton NJ.
