Front End "Clunk"
Well, the temperatures here in the northeast are bottoming out. When my DSOM Z51 C6 gets real cold while sitting and I go to move it it makes an awful clunking sound eminating from the front end accompanied by unusal vibration that almost feels like your riding on "out of round" tires as it moves from its resting spot and the wheel is turned. It just does it the very first time the car is moved while turning out of a parking spot - and only when it is particularly cold (under 35 degrees) after that there is no noise or vibration and all seems fine. It is repeatable every time it is exposed to low temperatures. Any ideas/suggestions?

The out of round part is because the tires are out of round and flat spotted due to sitting in the cold. It takes a block or two to heat up the cords so they can spring back to shape. The Supercars are especially prone.

This sounds like nylon ply tires of MANY years ago that would "flat spot" when sitting over night. They would have a flat area on the tire until they warmed up.
