Finally got a camera...
Uh.....NO!
I'm a GIRL....and like I told a friend today....I don't need a pe*!s extension.....
I just wanted a nice car and have wanted a vette for about 10 years now...I will be doing a few minor things such as:
* door handles (replacing them with body colored ones)
* matching body colored spoiler (why the heck do they call it that anyhow!)
* rear cargo mat...practical...keep carpet clean

* Interior body colored trim kit (I may return this, but I wanted to see what it looks like first...but if it's too "pimpy" it's gone!)
* Body colored motor cover panels
* rear protector/mat thingy...(flips over the rear so you don't scratch the car while loading things)
Other than that, it will be left alone.
I like the car just the way it is.

I also notice that you seem to have made a similar , IMO, good choice in choosing brake rotors that are not full of holes. I think you'll find your brakes will work just fine and with low levels of both noise and dust.
How you'll get along without the oil and trans coolers is tough to say. I hear they are essential for all rallys heald in Death Valley in the middle of summer.
Great looking car!
Oh, OK, I will confess to a couple of 'mods' you might consider. I removed my hood insulation because all it does it keep the engine hotter and keep me from hearing it sing. I also removed the fuel rail covers since these are just plain foolish IMO. Whether they trap heat over the heads is open to question but I certainly don't think they make the car go any faster.
( unless you air brush flames on them ! )
My opinion for those who can't think of anything when they see a brand new C6 except 'let the mods begin' is that they really should own a Mustang.

Huh, let's see, I'm a "girl" too who has an '06 with a cam, long tube headers, cats, x-pipe, borla exhaust, fast and lpe intakes, and a tune. So, since I have no p@#$is, it can't be extended. Huh, I'll have to think on this one a little.

It's nice to know others appreciate it the way it is too!
Yeah, to each his own I guess, but I get so frustrated at people who make mods to an already nice vehicle and they are always fixing it cuz thier modded parts are failing, cracking, wire broke or just plaing falling apart. I don't see why a person would risk damaging it and having to constantly fix it in the future. Any "mods" I am doing, if they can even be called that...more like accesories...are just simple non-invasive stuff. None of them affect the motor or suspension and they can all be removed without damage to the car, so if I ever DO sell it, I can change them back if the new owner doesn't like it...such as the dash kit.
I just don't see a point in messing with the motor or suspension. t just isn't worth it to me to risk ruining the motor if something goes wrong, or by making thngs wear faster just to get more power which I don't need anyhow. I have thought about maybe wanting the better brakes, but didn't get the package that included them because it also changed the ride and made it stiffer, which I did not like. If I do change the brakes, I will wait till these have worn out a bit, then maybe get the bigger/nicer rotors, etc.
I don't plan on doing alot of stuff in Death Valley...I pretty much avoid the heat if possible and I HATE Death Valley!
Went there on the Hayabusa and was miserable. I get heat stroke easily so 100+ temps are not my idea of fun. I will be heading to vegas for another hobby event but that's in late March and it is usually plenty tolerable then.
.....breast augmentation then?
j/k
Now that's an idea! Congrats on your car. I grew up in the muscle car era and my dad and brother modified everything that they got. I guess I grew up thinking that's what you're just supposed to do to it. It's definitely a high changing things to match your personality not to mention the absolute blast it is to drive when finished.
Enjoy the car for the reason you bought it. It's a great car any way you slice it.
