GM Prospect Code??? What is it?
I read in one thread that GM Employees are given some of these during the year to give to friends, family, etc? Is this true? Do you get Employee Pricing for vehicles with these or Supplier Pricing? How many do employees get? I have a friend that has worked for GM for 30 years and doesn't know anything about them but is checking on it for me. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is special pricing that is available if you have a certificate from GM, your friend should be able to get one. Check this thread out.

GM is still offering employee pricing on Corvettes with an employee sponsored certificate. You can contact a GM employee and they can provide you with a certificate number under the "GM Supplier Discount for Friends program" the details of which can be found here:

This is a program that was formerly called GM in the driveway or GMID here on the forum. In the pdf above it has a phone number that your friend can contact. If you are searching for a certificate and your friend is unable to provide one you can email a wonderful GM employee by the name of Richard Ott. Send him an email at:
Richard.Ott@gm.com
and enquire about a GM supplier discount for friends certificate and if he has any allocations for that month he will ask you for your name, the last four digits of of your social and some contact information. When he gets it he will send it along to you. You need to find a dealer that will honor it and one of the forum vendors always will.
