Default Time between build and ship?

My car was built on 1/24 and the dealer says it's still in Bowling Green.
I am only 100 miles from BG in Louisville.
Shouldn't I have my car by now?

All depends on Allied being able to fill a truck headed in your direction. I think you'll have it pretty soon. The waiting is a killer, especially when you know it has been built.

Just wondering why you didn't take the Museum delivery? If I was that close I would have done it in a heart beat.

both of my cars were shipped the same/next day. they do single out a certain # of cars for extended quality checks (upto 14 days). they also take them on a 14 mile quality drive! you dealer can find out why you car is still there IF he/she are not brain dead.

good luck, i feel the pain!!!

Depends how busy [read: backed-up] the transporter outfit (Allied) is, I suppose.

When I bought mine the xport company had been on strike (I believe).
The stike ended as soon as mine had rolled off the assembly line so 10 days later I had it.
Sometimes a little luck is awfully nice.

You missed a great expereince not opting for the museum delivery, especially since you live so close, and, you'd have your car by now, too.

Congrats on your pending delivery, you're gonna love this car.

I did the "buyers tour" and got to see my car get built but I was not really interseted in the museum delivery.
Maybe I would have got my car sooner if I did the museum delivery.

Wish I could help. Got my Vin yesterday and from what I hear it could be another month until I SEE MY CAR! I guess this is the pain you go through to get exactly what you want. Hang in there.

I called Allied several times when I was waiting for my car. They might be reluctant, but if you get the right person they will be able to tell you the date that your car is scheduled to arrive at the Dealership.
They told me that the each car is assigned to a truckload and that if any car assigned to that load is held for any reason that all cars in that load are held.
I did the Buyer's Tour on 9/26/06 and my car arrived at the Dealership on 10/5/06.
