Default C7/2008

There has been a lot of optimistic, enthusiastic, though too often wildly unfounded speculation about the 2008...colors, engine, HP, trans, options, even camshaft (it may not have one?!?)...regardless of what form the next generation vette takes, we're not talking about the C6.

So, would you like to see a dedicated forum for 2008?

P.S. This is NOT a bust on the mods

Hmmm...

The C6 will run from model years 2005-2010. The C7 will be
introduced in model year 2011. So, which car do want to discuss;
the 2008 C6 or the 2011 C7??

I have heard relatively little discussion of the C7 on this forum but
quite a bit on the 2008 C6.

A new engine does not make a new generation.

You will not see any C7 info untill 2010.2011

My prediction for the 2008 is different standard wheels.
And maybe thats a MAYBE a bump in hp to 420.
But the bump will be all about a large displacment to make it fuel efficent.

But IMHO where they just released the pace car and the ron fellows edition.
That will be it for 2008.
09 will be the bump in the ls2 / ls3 will come out because of the camaro. and the Realease of the BLUE DEVIL SS for 2009

No C7 for at least 2-3 more years. Don't need a separate section of the forum for 2008 vettes if it's a C6.

A couple of colors and a few ponies does not a generation make. Trust me, the 2008 will be a C6.
