XM - Discount code
Hello all - does anyone know if the discount code is still available? If so could someone post as my initial 3 month trial is over. Thanks in advance for your help.

I just signed up after my 3 month trial ended on Jan 24. I got one year for $77. ZWINBACK was the program I referred to. The first call didn't get me anywhere so I called back a couple hours later and got a different person, who was very cooperative and said basiclly "no problem" getting the $77 price. I also opted to be billed rather than have my credit card on file for auto renewals....

I think at this point, you really don't need a code. Just convince them you won't pay full price - that everyone you know is getting a year for $77. Call back 3, 4 times until you get it.
Also, as Doowopbob has indicated, get them to send you a bill and pay by check. Some who paid by CC had their account automatically renewed for another year at full price when their first year ran out.

I just told them that it wasn't worth more than $77 to me, no code was needed. The CS Rep gave it to me for $77 without an argument. I told her to bill me, and I paid with a check. The CS Rep warned me that they would continue my service automatically after the year expires and bill me at the regular rate. She suggested that I remember to call back just before the year is up and re-negotiate. I guess I must have been lucky getting that particular CS Rep on the phone.
