Default Vert tonneau cover...

Read a few posts re the tonneau cover fit and finish. I'll be picking up my '07 vert 21 Feb at the NCM and was wondering just how big a problem this is. Sure don't want to pay this kind of $ and find out there's a problem with something that seems this obvious. Has anything been done to correct it or is it another one of those "the dealer can take care of it" deals! Seems there is some sort of gap at the cover whether the top is up or down. Any further info would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Paul

I picked mine up at NCM in August (2007 Vert). Did not fit properly so sent it back to the factory and took possession the next day by 11:00.
When you go to pick up your car, I'd look at it first and if it doesn't fit properly, I'd have the NCM take it back to the factory while you tour the factory and Musuem. You should be able to pick up your car on schedule at the end of day. Good luck

Mine is fine! If you notice a problem with yours; it can probably be adjusted.

Look at it during your NCM pickup. If there is some kind of problem they will fix it or send it back over to the assembly plant to have it done. I have not had this problem.

No problem with mine. I have a manual top.

**************QUESTION ****
For you people that have a tonneau problem is yours manual or a power top????
**************************************** *****

Mine is manual and I turn the top lock to close when I put the top down. My top does NOT touch the tonneau. It fits and looks good top up or down.

My cover sticks up in the center just a little with the top down. It is perfect with the top up.

C6 MN6 vert,

Mine is horrible - getting a new "hard boot" in the spring and having it painted - as well as a new headliner - that is the pits too.

All pre-authorized warrantee work.

It is just GM QC - what do you want, it is union labor. They are in it for the benefits - not because they give a rat's a$$. It's your money - not theirs.
