Interesting .. I'm talking to Kerbeck today about getting a new vert and asked him about shippers. Here is what he emailed me. Hope this helps.

Horseless Carriage - 800-631-7796
These folks just hauled a Jeep from Florida to Ohio for me and were excellent! Driver was on time, very professional and they were very reasonable. Highly recommend them!
It's very tempting but I almost hate to put another 1200 miles on the car. Of course I did buy it to drive it.
Not bashing but why worry about the miles you put on it? I bought mine because I enjoy driving it. I'm not going to let it sit in the garage and look at it. Then you leave a nice low mileage Vette for the next owner and you haven't enjoyed it. I just traded my 02 C5 in with almost 60k miles during the 3+ years I owned it. My C6 is a little over a month old and has 1600 mi on it. My suggestion is enjoy it!
The old standard big three were Horseless Carriage, Intercity and Passport. Of those, I chose Passport and was completely satisfied. Fellow in Dallas had his C6 from kerbeck done by Passport-same experience.
Since my time, many other transports have been introduced but some still have their great reputations and aren't inexpensive. Just be careful out there....
Just picked up a C6 in San Diego and need to have it shipped to Portland Oregon.
Can anyone give me some recommendations?
I think you are doing the right thing. The initial break-in is 500 miles. It is mighty hard to get on the highway for such a distance and stay under 55. I know, I bought mine in St. Louis and drove it back to Arizona. That 500 miles seemed like forever.
I used Autobahn Transport recently to move my three toys from Nashville, TN to Dallas, TX and they were great. They were recommended to me by LPE.www.autobahnusa.net
