Try a search on this. It has been covered several times and from what I have read, different methods work, but not to a 100% satisfaction of most CF members trying.
I think an after market visor, with no caution stickers was suggested as a better fix. Goo-off etc. gives spotty results,I have not tried yet.
Best of luck
I took them off my 05 C6 with high heat from a hair dryer and some generic adhesive remover from AutoZone and a stiff brush. After 2-3 months the shadow on the visors went away.
I just covered them up on the 06 coupe with some stickers I bought from a C6 forum sponsor.
It was a pita just to peel the stickers off, but after that was done I used Goo Gone for the glue residue followed by Westley's Clear Magic cleaner and they came out great.
Removed mine and it looks great. Used a hair dryer to get them off and Goo Gone to remove the remaining adhesive. Followed up with some black shoe polish and you can't tell they were there.
