I order a stormshield two tone cover for my c6 in early october. It arrived at the end of november. The cover looked great, I was fairly happy. A few days later it rained, somewhat hard, but nothing to write home about. I took the cover off my car the next day and found my car was covered in water; not droplets here and there, but rather large puddles on the flat surfaces and water marks everywhere. I contacted coverking they said that this should not happen, asked me to send it back for testing and they said they would have a new one for me in no later than 2 weeks...
...2 months later, after continuously speaking to my contact at coverking. They decide that there is nothing wrong with my cover, and now start saying well water will get into the seams. They strung me along for another week or so and then say they are going to send me my car cover back.
So after all of my headache, I have to ask for a refund because I can't get a new car cover, at least not in time to make any use out of it.
Out of curiousity, for those of you who have coverking covers and like them, do your covers keep you car dry? or at least relatively dry? I just wanna see if i got the short end of the stick or if i was just expecting too much.
Also does anyone know of any other place that makes a "quality" cover?

Now, this site does have an "outlet" center---you didn't buy one of their factory rejects, did you? Just checking, not trying to put you down.
Do us a favor: take a couple pics of the situation, even if you have to simulate it. Like, cover on, dry, hose it down or pour water on it, peel off the cover, show us the water (so to speak). Granted, this isn't the time to be doing it in NJ, but hey! it'll be helpful to proving your case (again) with Cover whosits.
Good luck.

I purchased the same cover. Mine had the sewn emblems (help on putting the cover on right the first time) and was also a two tone cover. I parked my new C6 outside with what I thought was the best cover available (by looking at the $$$). I noticed the flags and "corvette" were sewn on crooked. No big deal. After it rained, I also noticed large drops on the car. I dealt with the leaking for a while but noticed my car had incurred some etching from the water drying under the cover.....ex...rain and then hot sun (I can't always race home after a shower to dry off my car which should not get wet anyway). This cover is definitely a leaker. I called the company and they instructed me to send it back for testing. They said they put it on the owners Lexus and hit it with a garden hose. They said no leaking. They offered to send me a new cover. I received the new cover....without emblems. I called to complain and the offered me a cable lock and bag to settle up. Between the nylon threads scratching the car, the material itself is useless. My car now has terrible acid etching and I have a POS $350 car cover rolled up in the corner of my garage.

Except for indoor use. I cover mine when I know I'm not going to be driving for at least three or four days. Bought an indoor/outdoor cover, $111 shipped, and it does an ok job. Would never use it outdoors--too windy in CO. Did get the tonneau cover so I don't have to keep taking the top on and off--and will keep the black leather cooler. I have never been cool with covering a wet car in the hot sun. Another reason I would never consider a bra.
