Default Rear diffuser/fascia??

I've had my C6 a little over a year now and the only mod I have done so far has been installing Bullets (exhaust). Unfortunately, the positioning of the exhaust tips have caused my rear diffuser/facia (plastic piece that runs along the bottom) to warp from the heat. They look like they are positioned in the same manner as other "Bullet" exhaust installs I've seen.

Has anyone else run into this problem??? If so, what's the fix?? If any. Suggestions???

I thought I read about this awhile ago. I just can't recall any key words to run a search. Thanks.

I tried a search and can't find anything on this. Do your tips touch the fascia? Do they exit inside or back of the fascia? Pics would help.

I had this happen due to the extreme heat generated at the first track event I did. I also have B&Bs. The solution was to move the exhaust farther back. Just loosen the clamps that hold it to the H pipe, and slide it back an inch or so. This is where mine sit now...

I've been back to that track in hotter weather, and it hasn't happened again.

Thanks for the input gents.

300MPH: No, they dont touch the fascia at all. They are about a half inch below it. Sorry, I'm having a hard time getting my pic on here.

MLONGO99: Thanks, I will attempt to re-adjust the tips and see how it goes from there.

Is there anything I can do about the warped fascia though?? Once I re-adjust the tips, will the plastic go back to being straight again??
