I dissagree. I"ve had them on a C5 and a C6. I don't see any difference. They are not loud inside the car, but at certain speeds and engine loads there is some drone. Some people hate it, some are okay with it.
The Bullets sound good, chambered muffler system. They are not straight pipes but appear so. Call B&B.
They have no mufflers, just a resonator on each pipe which looks like a fat part on a straight pipe. Outside of straight pipes, they have the free-est flowing exhaust you could have. That being said, they sound almost exactly like the chambered exhausts--which did have a small inline muffler, back in the day--most commonly on Z-28s in the late '60s. I've never heard a better modern exhaust, although the Mustang with Flomasters also sounds very nice--not like a chambered system, however.
Mine went from loud to extremely loud after adding the kooks headers with off road x pipe.Going through tunnels is fun.Every c6 thats ever pulled up next to me always asks about my exhaust. It honestly sounds like it almost has a cam in it.If you ever plan on getting gears,I wouldnt do my setup, its to loud on highway drives.

Not what I was told by B&B. They said chambered muffler system. I admit, it sure looks like a resonator .

Just the opposite of what they told me when I first inquired. I asked if it was res only, like SLP Loudmouths, and they said yes. When I got it, I could see it was a resonator==change frequencies, not amplitude. Either way, it is the nearest I've heard to a chambered exhaust--which really was a hybrid between a res and a muffler anyway.

If you palnning on installing headers they are going to be real loud, bullets by themselves are real loud, adding headers hi flo cats and x-pipe will ring your ears which is subjective if you like loud, I mean loud..
They sound wicked on the outside, inside they are loud. Idle is not really loud, but when you get on it, you can hear it for 1+ miles. When a C6 with Bullets is downshifting in town, it sounds like a Cup Car coming into the pits. Honestly, sometimes they made my ears ring after I got out of the car. The sound definitely rattled the plastic in interior. I think the interior sound may be the worst in the coupe, better in the vert. The car did seem to lose a little low end with the Bullets, but maybe it was just my imagination. Seems like the low end came back as soon as I put the Corsa's on. May have something to do with the backpressure, may be just my imagination.
it is a bit loud not bad in my opinion. its about finding the right rpm. if you lug it the louder they seem. people really liked it in the socal mountains they said they heard it bouncing around in the canyon and it sounded sweet. an attention getter forsure
