E-brake lever boot

E-brake lever boot
Has anyone relaced the boot on the E-brake lever? I know it's simple to replace the gearshift boot but the brake lever boot doesn't look as simple and I can't find any instructions in the Corvette Service Manual. Any advice would be helpful.

The boot is just attached with clips. The worst part is getting the parking brake handle off, which just requires some careful use of force.
