Default Nav with 6 Pack issue

Hi all,

New to the forum.

Just brought home our LMB Z yesterday.

I had the dealer throw in the 6 disk changer in the back, as I wanted more than 1 cd which the Nav system comes with.

When I insert a CD in the dash it plays as expected. I can then choose the CD/CDX button on the NAV to access the 6 pack.
Problem is once I switch from the indash to the 6 pack and try to switch back to the indash, I get the "no cd" message.

6pack still works fine, but I need to reload the indash to access it again.

Is this common?

Thanx in advance

No you should not have to reload the in dash disc. I have all 6 discs loaded and one in the Nav and never had to reload it and the dealer installed my 6 disc changer too. I would try a couple different disc in the Nav. If that dosen't work I would take it back.

Congratulation's of the new Corvette. Let us know the outcome of the CD issue. I'm interested in the six pack but the price seems a little high.

Thanx guys,

I tried a few different CDs.
Glad, in a way, to know it shouldn't be happening like that.

I'll roll her back to the dealer when it comes out of hibernation in a few months.

Since you have a new C6 with the CD changer in the back, could you please test it with a CD with MP3s on it. First make sure the MP3 CD works OK in the Nav CD player. If it does, try in in the changer. There has been conflicting information about MP3 support for this changer. Please post your results.

Thanks.

I finally tried disconnecting the battery for 20 mins.

All works as it should now.
