My wife and I were just talking about Jan and his role with the C6R Sunday night where we speculated that he may step up once Ron started winding down. Good for him. He's been with Corvette for a while and I'm glad he's getting his chance.

See... I have to talk to myself about these kinds of things... none of my friends follow sports car racing. Hell, most wouldn't know the Corvettes had a race team if I didn't talk about it....
FIgured change was coming as it seems a while since they made any driver type changes like this. Should be a good change from the way it looks right now.
Ron Fellows as a "corvette ambassador" is a great move as well for the fans. He was always really cool when I'd see him at Mid-Ohio.

I think that this is a great move - Ron as the ambassador and Jan as the regular driver. There had been a lot of talk that Ron would retire from the sport and this gives us the best of both worlds.
