Is It True That The Selection Of The Nav Option On My 2007 Coupe, 3lt, Z51,auto W/paddles, Lmb Will Render The Cd Player A Single Disc Only In Spite Of The Sticker Which Says "6 Disc Cd Player"?
I have Nav and no 6 disk but who needs it with XM. Sirius, FM, CD and did I mention driving and the fun. I'm sure there is a way to add later or you just oust the Nav and get an aftermarket Nav with what ever.

Yes, that is true. You can not get the 6-disk in-dash player if you get the nav. The nav head unit replaces the 6-disk head unit and only holds one CD. You can, however, add a 6-disk changer in one of the cubbies in the cargo area as a dealer-installed genuine GM accessory.

Plus, you can make a MP3 CD. You can get about 90 songs on one.
I made two, one is Corvette Rock songs and the other is Corvette Blues.

The "sticker" tells you what is standard equipment. A few options will exchange or delete some standard equipment. This is one of them.
Manual transmission is standard equipment. However, if you purchase a C6 with the auto tranny, it will probably still show the manual as part of the standard equipment, but may or may not say the auto tranny replaced it.

Yep, its one or the other.
IMO, you don't need a 6 disc changer. The NAV radio will play MP3 discs which is very cool. I have the NAV with the single CD player and I have MP3 discs with 155 to 181 songs on them as well as MP3 discs with as many as 15 folders. Each folder contains the music from a commercial CD so it's the same as having a 15 disc changer. A single MP3 disc will play about 10-1/2 hours without repeating a single song. You can't get over 10 hours of contiuous music from a 6 disc changer!
Looks like you have gotten the info you needed.
I have found that I don't miss having a changer and that I really like having the nav. unit. Very cool how it interfaces with the HUD.

6 disc CD changers are about to take their rightful place alongside 8 track tape players.

First, Welcome to the forum
Yes it is true. When you selected the Nav option it should have noted that it deletes the in dash 6 disc changer. The two are mutually exclusive. With MP3 capability I've never missed not having the changer.
