green light on start button...out!

green light on start button...out!
I have no green light!
My car's battery went a little dead a few weeks ago because of sitting and sub zero weather.I had accessories but not quite enough to start car.I hooked up the battery tender.All is well now,battery charged etc.One thing I notice is the green light on the button is gone!Any ideas?
I posted this over in tech and got nothing,so I'm trying here.

I figured it might be as I haven't read anything on it ever!Button's falling out,DBS,all kinds of stuff,but not this!Not even a big deal really because the car starts right up now that I leave it on the tender for days/weeks on end.It's kind of cool not needing to worry about anything!
This has to be the "first" failure of this type reported. Wish I could help. Good luck.

Well,I'll check the doors and play w/the button to see if it lights up at all.Can't pull the car out because of the 28 inches of snow last week and the 7 more inches tomorrow night!!!

After they installed the battery the light would not light up so the service manager told me that it would go back to normal after I started it a couple of times and drove it.After I drove it about 4 times everythigh reset and it lights up again.

I too am tired of the same old weather here in San Antonio. It has been between 70 and 80 degrees for a couple of weeks now, and no end in sight. Next week, we will likely continue with this type of weather. Boring????

I'll follow up when I can get the car out in a month or so. Now it's Another 6-12 inches of snow tonight.
