Default convertable top

I just purchased a new Corvette and I am wondering how to protect the
convertable black top?

What do you mean by "protect the convertable black top"?

If you are referring to daily parking outside in the sun a good car cover will do the job.

Don't leave it down for extended periods and don't lower the top with it dirty. My 05 looks like new and it is down most of the time in the summer.

other then cover the car, what I am interested in is how to treat the top in order to extend the life and look of it.
Thanks for the reply

I've never did anything to any of my verts and they always looked new.

Keep it clean...wash with a soft brush whenever you wash your car. Never put it down wet or dirty. Treat it once a year with Raggtop to maintain the water repellancy. Good luck!
