I may have redline my c6, has about 10k miles. The engine kinda stalled for a second when I went past 6500 rpm at first gear.No unusual sound from the motor yet...should I need to worry?

Reason: spelling
"Redline" is an arbitrary RPM number assigned by the engine designers, the rev limiter or fuel cut is a electronically controlled RPM maximum.
Even with the rev limiter you can still over rev the motor by downshifting into too low a gear. i.e.; Rev it to the limiter in 3rd and accidentally down shift to 1st instead of upshift to 4th.
