Removable top Noise reduction
I just got my new top for my 06 C6 coupe, and it stopped 95% of the popping and snapping from the top. They, the dealer, had tried the regluing approach, which failed to stop the loud popping and snapping from the roof on cold mornings.
From a Forum recommendation, I put some silicone lubricant on the weatherstripping of the new top and windshield frame, front and back, and it seems to have eliminated the other 5% of the top popping and snapping
I am now a happy guy. Try the silicone fix on yours and report the results!
