'08 Color changes??
I have been prreparing to order my new Vert and was just told that I need to hurry if I want Montery Red. That it will not be on the '08s. Has anyone else heard that?

Do you know when the colors come out? I need to know if I need to hurry and order or wait. Or is that the gamble? By the time you see the new colors it's too late to get the last years colors.

As others have indicated, two new colors. Blue stream replaces LeMans blue and Crystal Claret replaces Monterey red. The colors will be unveiled on April 28th.

If you want Monterey Red or Le Mans Blue you should order pretty soon. They will probably cut off the colors before the end of the model year ordering period. I wouldn't look for the new color samples to be out before the cut off for the old.

unless your just in-love with MR. I would seriously wait for the 2008 models since they are getting quite a few changes/upgrades. New engine(more Hp), new interior options, two new colors, new wheels, Z06 exhaust for Z51 optioned C6, available performance axle for Automatic, etc.
I'd also wait for an 08' as they will probably hold a little more value than previous yr models because of the engine change and what not. If your looking for the best deal get an 07'.
I've got an 07' A6 Z51 and love it, but I'm gonna trade it for an 08' Z51 A6 whenever they allow new orders end of april/early may time period.
