How many have changed their gas and dead pedal to the matching aluminum ones? Purely cosmetic, but if new mats are better looking, then pedals would be also.
There are a couple of aftermarket ones. Saw where one of the sets (dead pedal) 3m tapes on. That doesnt seem right. Which ones are better and where is the best place to get them? Thanks

They are for sale on my site www.nakidparts.com installed mine over 1 1/2 ago (yes stick on dead pedal) and I have installed 15 sets for locals and friends, the best you can get from and from Elite.

I like the one from Elite Engineering, but I saw a different one on another site that matched the clutch and brake pedal even better imo. The holes looked nearly identical and I've seen the same pedal in a square and another with a tapered look. Can't remember the link though. I've only been considering the gas pedal, can care less about the dead pedal.

Ed,
Will be receiving my splashguards this week from you.
Don't understand the "stick on" (3m tape) of the dead pedal? How secure can that be? Granted, the dead pedal is not used like the gas pedal, but... I see two screw holes in it as well.

Also, how is the the gas pedal attached? Thanks
The old gas is removed buy pulling a pin and the new one uses a SS bolt (provided)
The dead pedal if installed on a clean surface would have trouble being ripping it off with a pry bar. They use the best 3M tapes and use allot. I was the one that requested that design since it installs in seconds instead of unbolting the OEM, drilling and reinstalling. This kind of tape is used to hold planes together.

I just installed the Elite standard size gas pedal. I'm trying to learn "heel and toe" downshifting after 30 years of driving manuals, and it is a tad wider than the stock pedal and should make my practicing a bit easier. The wider heel and toe Elite pedal just looked too big to my eye, and I don't want to hit the gas by accident. I like the look of the Elite standard gas pedal a lot. I won't be doing the dead pedal, though, as I think it looks funny to put durable aluminum on a non-action pedal just to rest your foot.
