I have decided to remove my console and instrument panel bezel and have them painted. I found on this site how to remove the console, but cannot find out how to remove the bezel (the part that surrounds the guages). Any help would be appreciated.
Just installed the color matched kit. The whole assembly snaps into place with metal spring clips. Start removal at the lower left side work across the bottom then up the sides. Be careful across the top the plastic piece is very thin. The plugs to all the switch gear are really hard to disconnect. I ended up having unscrew the switch panels and pop out the power top swtch then when the bezel was out disconnect them to install in the new bezel. All in all it took me about 2.5 hours start to finish. Be sure to disconnect the battery before you start.
I removed the console and the Instrument Panel Cluster and painted both of them myself. I sanded them down with 400 grit, primed and painted them both with High Gloss paint with a few coats and Clear Coat. They look really sharp.
