Pretty expensive for mediocre results. On a C6 try raising your windows 2-4 inches (experiment at cruise to find the right height for you). That will significantly reduce wind noise and turbulence. Good luck.

Before I took delivery, a wind screen was on my list of things to buy. After driving the car with the top down a few times I quickly realized that I didn't need it. The turbulence is minimal and if you put the side windows up a few inches it is reduced even more.
I was kind of happy because although I was all set to order one, I really think they look stupid on the car.

Just don't think it looks cool enough - image is more important than function on this one.

Default We don't need no stinkin' windscreen

The wind in a C6 feels GRRREAT! Would'nt have it any other way. Whaddaya want in a vert? If this is too much wind for you sissies , get a coupe. I could maybe see one of these uglies in a C5 or other types of verts, but the aerodymanics of a C6 make it unnecessary. Maybe I've been perverted by my 70,000+ miles on two wheels instead of four. And PUHLEEZE...don't let me catch you in that great lookin' vert with the top down and the friggin' windows up

I almost bought one, then found out it had to be removed before I could raise the top. I have a power top, and having to get out of the car, remove the screen, stow it in the trunk, then get back in and raise the top ... Simply not worth the bother.

Dude ! I have one on my Vert( had the dealer install it) and feel it works GREAT! The Wife Loves it and I have been able to drive "Comfortably" in much cooler weather,
Listening to the radio, Talking to the Wife and even using the OnStare in much better. Would not be without it. JMO
I will work on getting some PIX Posted.
Good Luck

I think the question was: does the windscreen work? I have also considered getting one for long trips with my wife. She really does not like all the wind in the hair thing like I do. If this screen would make her happy I would probably get one. So, does it significantly reduce wind and noise? Thanks

How tough is the installation of the factory wind screen?

Ken - Do you have a pdf of the instructions?
