Default help between 06 & 07

I am choosing between a used 07 with 3000 miles and a new 06. Does anybody know if they made any changes between 06 & 07 to tweak any problems for example paddle shifters or anything else ? thanks for your help

07's built after August 2006 have the improved roof which won't delaminate. 07's have a longer 5 yr/100K warrenty. Other then that it's the same car. If you save alot, it might be better to go with the 06. If the longer warrenty is big for you, go with the 07.

Default door sill plate

There is also a new door sill plate on the most recently produced 07's.

Look at Kelley Blue book values, then decide.

Here's a little more than what you asked for.

Changes for 2007 Corvettes

Just in from Chevrolet… 4/18/06

Exterior Color:

83U Atomic Orange Metallic Tintcoat (a bright chromatic orange), replaces Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic
GM mailed every dealer the new color selection with an actual chip of the new color. It is MUCH brighter and lighter than Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic!!!

Interior:

Two-tone Modified Seats (perforated leather seating surface) with crossed flag embroidery and contrasting stiching.
Available in 026 Red, 316 Cashmere, 846 Titanium
Available on Coupe and Convertible with 2LT or 3LT equipment packages

UK3 Steering-wheel mounted audio controls included with Bose premium audio systems (US9/U3U)

Larger glovebox storage space

UE1 OnStar now available on Z06 with 2LZ equipment group

Enhanced acoustic package reduces road noise and is included with Z06 2LZ equipment group

Bose audio enhancements

New keyless access transmitter with integrated mechanical key

CM7 Power convertible top is now included with Convertible 3LT equipment group

Cross-drilled brake rotors now included with F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control

Per Ken Fichtner 4/18/06

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1368594

Note:
A. Console Lock eliminated
B. New fob delayed, probably until 2008

Per AnotherYellow, 8/8/06

Underhood Light Deleted

5-Yr/100,000-mile powertrain warranty

Dec. 06 – Eliminated the coupe rear hatch lid pulldown handle

Both great cars with minor differences. Nothing major that you would probably regret later. Buy the one YOU like the best that you get what you consider to be the best deal.

Buy the one that gives you the best deal. If the 2007 used one is from an indidual and you don't have to pay sales tax, you might want to look hard at that....and the extra warranty. Sales tax is money in the wind.

If buying used doesn`t bother you then you have to go for the best out the door price. I on the other hand wouldn`t buy this car used if the 06 is close on the deal because,i don`t know about you but i would rather break my car in then have someone that i don`t know break it in for me. Just my .02 Good Luck with your choice.
