I've been pretty happy with my Goodyear GS EMTs. I've had 2 immediate air loss flats in 40,000 miles. Both were non-events thanks to the EMT. The tires have worn well, perform well in the cold and wet, etc. I was planning on replacing them with another set. But they are noisy, even when new, and a new set is expensive, so I'm considering the Firestone tires. I just want to know if I can get the same sort of tread life out of them as I've gotten with the Goodyears.
On Tire Rack the tires all had the same wear rating, for whatever that's worth. 320, as I recall

If I had to guess I would say a tire with a 320 rating would last 23k. Now that is according to goverment standards and a lot a variables are involved in that so take it for what its worth. Absolutely nothin
I like to know if they wheelhop as bad as my Supercars do.
On the C5 Z cars, they launch pretty good with tc on, no noticable wheelhop, or excessive wheel spin, however with tc off, you're on your own...You can smoke'em if you want to and wheelhop has not been an issue...Of course, the head instructor gets excited when he sees excessive wheelspin.
