Default Rocker panel pebbles

Can't find anything in a search, but I know I've seen it addressed in a post. Pebbles collecting in the rocker panel / fender groove in front of the rear wheels. Detailed the car today and there they were. Took the screw out and shook out more than I thought I would for a 1000 mile car. Anyone know a fix? Caulking in the wheelwell?

Go to C6 FAQ at the top of this page....

As you scroll down, you'll find Pipedream's DIY's and there is one there on gravel in the fender seam.

Pipedream's DIY fix. Ignore that first image, it's for the DIY vent screens and seems to be on the wrong page. Maybe pipedreams will see this and fix the page.

I just saw my rocks in there last night. I'll get the foam and stop that crap from repeating.

Thanks.

I have enough rocks in mine to start a small road. I'm going to take care of this when it's time for Spring cleaning.

Um... Tom? What's this Spring stuff? We're cutting grass down here already. We've done Sprang. It's 68 right now as I post. You really DO need to open a shop down here. Gobs more top down time.

check "Pipedream" image, you have to remove the bolt holding the fender in in fromt of the rear tire and GENTLY pull away to dislodge the rocks, you may need two people, one to pull the fender away and one to remove the rocks.

So true!!! I keep telling my wife that we should move somewhere warmer but her family is up here so she doesn't want to leave. Hum... maybe that is a good thing Might be a little to warm/humid for me in the Summer but 3 months of heat would probably be worth 9 months of comfortable weather.
