C6 Navigation
I have a 3LT Monterey Red C6 convertible with factory navigation. I will be away for two weeks on vacation. With my other cars, I normally disconnect the battery when gone for this long. If I do this, will I lose my 30+ stored navigation points? Thanks in advance.

You will lose nothing but the window indexing.
No Nav data or radio data will be lost.

Window indexing is where they drop a little when you open the door and go back up when you close the door.

Plug it in to a Battery Tender. Best $60 I've spent on this car. I'm out of town every other week. I have a quick disconnect on the battery for the BT.

Best insurance you can buy for your battery.
This way you never have to disconnect your battery. All your settings will always be there.

No reason to disconnect the battery. Should be fine after 2 weeks IMO.
Take Care.

Mine has sat for a little over three weeks a few times with no problems (I did not have a battery tender/charger hooked up at all).

I don't understand the idea of stored NAV points. If you been there once, then you should know where you are going!

Yes I have lost window indexing and to reset the windows so they will close all the way....here is what you need to do! Open your door,(while stopped) then close it. Now hold your window button UP for 3 SECONDS. Now wait for a few seconds .... repeat holding the window button up for 3 seconds.
Now open the door and shut the door and your window should work now. This is in the GM owners manual if you look long enough... God knows I finally found it. take care....chrissy
