Default Adding Nav unit ?

Hi
I have a 05 with a 6 disk cd player i want to replace it with a oem nav unit. can this be done plug and play if not what do i need. i have a oem nav unit that came out of a 05 that a buddy of mine had so i got the unit i just need to know if there is anything eles i need to make it work.

It isn't really plug and play. The NAV head unit integrates with the HUD and two speed sensors. You will need to add in the antenna and when you get a NAV head unit it will need to be registered to the vehicle. It need to be tied to the vehicle and I believe that the TechII can do via the dealership. You may be better off going with a nice after market solution at this point as it will surely be cheaper. There are many units in the Pioneer line that integrate very nicely into the C6 and for the most part provide ease of use and some offer improved features.

go with after market. Much nicer, you can download all your cds to internal hard drive (like pioneer ones) and they are much nicer. You lose out the Hud integration, but gain a lot more.
