I'm not crazy about the way they look, but they are hardly noticeble and their benefit outweighs the look. I storongly recommend them.
It would be nice if someone manufactured a Z06 type that required no modification and just installed using the existing push pins.
Hi,
What you are talking about is exactly what we have developed. We have modified the Z06 Mud Flap to fit for C6 both front & rear wheels. We precisely line up the factory screw holes and we supply exactly same kind of plastic screws but longer to absorb the extra thickness of our Mud Flaps. All you have to do is just to push those plastic screws back to the existing holes plus one screw that we supply and it will hold the Z06 style Mud Flap in place. Very easy installation.
Our web site is www.apsisusa.com. The pictures are in the "C6 Black Carbon-Exterior" page.
The pictures that you will see are our first prototype but our molds need a minor final tune so the parts will be ready in about one month.
You can use our modified Z06 Mud Flap in raw condiction (in black color) like the Z06 stock Mud Flaps, or you can paint them. We also offer in real black or silver carbon finishing for the customers that they like carbon.
Looks great, I also just sell the fronts if you go this route
Tried them all, so pix and comments below of what is commercially available, reasonably priced and not difficult DIY.
Pipedreams front... extremely easy install, great price, functional, not obtrusive.
Altech front, modified install as not a perfect fit, more aggressive look !
Pipedreams rear...same comments as the fronts !
OEM Z06 rear...requires modification and some skill level, very aggressive look.
Summary...they all perform equally to keep your body free from road damage.
Choice between pure function and ease of install as Ed's (Pipedreams) or a more aggressive look like the Altech or Z06. that requires some skill level to install

I need to post pictures.. Its amazing to me that these are the perfect use of material to prevent dings.. yet I cant even tell they are there.. normally you will notice something out of place on your own car over anyone else these blend in flawlessly with the rest of the car.
I have Ed's splash guards on my '07, and have been pretty happy with them! They are barely noticeable when installed. I do feel that they are overpriced for what you get though.
I have Ed's splashguards and think they are great and not overpriced. However, I did try that "Cleartastic" material available from another fforum vendor and for those who dont like the mudflap look, this works great too.
