Default Computer Learn?

I have heard that the computer in a 07 C6 does not adjust or does not adjust as well to minor mods such as CAI, exhaust and etc.as in the past. Is this true? Is the factory trying to keep us from making mods?

I would say the collective number of souls on this forum that have done CAI and exhaust would tell you that you heard wrong. I think someone was funnin' with ya'.

Our Ecu's like most other ecu's learn and adjust accordingly. Do you think your computer is applying the same rules of calculations for fuel ,while you are driving 110 degress in the desert or climbing up to mammoth mountain? Same with upgrades, up to a point ( not too great unfortunatly) comp automatically adjusts to its newer enviroment, which can be lower air pressure, colder denser air, heat etc....
