Has Anyone Installed Chrome Spears On The Sides Of Your C6 And If So A Few Photos Will Help Me Decide "to Do" Or "not To Do".

Why I wouldn't use them.

1) Too damn expensive...$400+
2) They're only affixed with double sided tape
3) They come off or get loose because of the heat from the brakes
4) I've been to car shows and the guys that had them on wish they hadn't put them on
5) JMHO

I kind of agree.
They are part of Corvette history, appearing on the C1s, but the price is kind of high.
I might like them on my C6 for a while, but not at that price.

I initially considered doing this but I agree with the rest...too expensive. You could do manifold/TB porting, or a CAI, or upgrade your speakers and tinting, or......Do the cost/benefit thinking first.

Good thread. I was pondering doing this myself, but had no idea they were a stick on... I don't think they look as bad as some on here, but they are a lot of money...
