My car's build date is June 20, 2006 and it's a 2006 LMB. How close to the end of the '06 production run is it? i'm thinking it has to be pretty close to the end.

What's the VIN number? (Last 6 digits)

There were 34021 C6s built, including Z06s.

If the Z06s were numbered with the coupes & verts as they were actually built, it looks like only 622 C6s were built after yours. That's less than a week's output, probably closer to 3 and a half days of output.

That seems to agree with my memory of when the plant operated last year. I think they built 06s through June 23 (Friday), then started building 07s on Monday, June 26. So there were 3 more days of output after yours.

That equates to about eight to ten days from the last day an 06 went down the line if they are keeping up the 80 or so a day production numbers

I don't think so. Their production numbers were never that low. They turned out 150-170 vettes per day.

If they only made 80 a day, they would have only made about 20,000 for the year. 80/day X 5 days/week X 50 weeks a year = 20,000.
