Default Orange light?
Sorry this may be a dumb question but as I am admittingly a new vette owner I cannot find the answer to this question. I have a small orange light that is underneath the passenger visor area of my 2005 vette. What is the purpose of this light? It seems to always be on? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

The purpose of the light is to simply to put a light on your center console at night so you can see the ***** and stuff. I don't know of any other reason.

Page 3-20 of the 2006 Owners Manual:

An ambient light is located in the passenger sun visor
clip. This light stays on while driving to keep the
cabin from being too dark.
