I had looked into a 3LT ms6 corvette and found one for 51k sticker. Unfortunately it didn't have the z-51. Today I found a 6spd 3LT with z51 at 55k sticker. I called and on the phone, the dealer told me that he'd bring it down to 52k. Does that seem reasonable? Is that too much still or do you guys think it's about right?
You do realize that there are CF dealer/vendors on the left side of this thread (well, the main, C6 page), right? If you don't, look at their websites, write down your specs on what you want on a car, and email each one. You'll get some prices back.
I won't say your prices are bad, but I will say if you want to do better, you can. Good luck.
I think a forum dealer can do better. There seems to be several good ones here so I'd decide what options you want and contact several of them to see who can give you the best price. Other than time, you're really not out anything by doing it that way and you'll have peace of mind with your final decision.

Not enough by a long shot! If, as a GM employee they give me $ 6,000 off a Corvette, DON'T settle for anything else. The dealer can easily sell you the vette, and still make a profit...

Why should everyone expect the same price that GM employees get? Although GM can sell it at that price, that doesn't mean they can sell all of their cars at that price and still stay in business. Or that dealers can sell it at that price and still stay in business. Maybe this is a realistic expectation, and I'm just missing something?
