Are you sure it is 1SZ? What year is the car?
In 2005 there was a 1SX preferred option group which is the equivelant of todays 1LT. Basic, stripped down base model car. It could also be a typo if it is a 2005, '06, or '07 as a juxtapostion of Z51 which is the RPO for the performance handling package which adds additional transmission and oil cooling, different sway bars, bigger crossed drilled brakes and in the manual a different gearing for the transmission for more low end performance.

I had the same question. My order form for my C8 says 1SZ for my highly optioned 2LT.
Have no clue what it means. It does not seem to be connected to anything at all.
Just says discount option package. So I assume that some of the options I got are less money as a group than individually.
