I have an 05 Acura RL, which allows you to do anything with entering a destination or POI while driving. I noticed the vette requires me to be at a complete stop.
Besides the feature being completely annoying, it is also becoming a problem. I often leave the house and head to the fire station (I'm a volunteer paramedic in the area) and while I am on the way to the station will enter my destination into the GPS (of the Acura) so I can find out the general area or turn-by-turns to get to my destination. I can't do this in the vette......unless someone has discovered a way to 'unlock' the nav while you are driving? I know you can do the last 60 destinations and home, but that doesn't help me....I need to enter anything while driving.....anyone???

There are people in this Forum who are trying to hack into the Nav. We know that certain combinations of numbers work to bring up diagnostic screens. Maybe you would like to volunteer to help them.
I've know that on the MN6 you need to have the parking brake on. I've been thinking about trying to add a switch that fools the NAV unit to thinking that the brake is applied. I think that there is already a switch there that turns off the DRL when the brake is applied. Just a thought
