C6 redheaded stepchild?

Today my wife and I took both Vettes for a drive.She drove the C6 and me the '78.Went thru a town where people were on the sidewalks waiting for the St.Patricks parade to come.You would have thought the vettes were part of the festivities as the people waved at us and screamed"cool cars".When we stopped at a restaurant all the kids flocked to the C3 basically ignoring the '05.When I asked them which one they wanted me to take their picture with they all yelled"the black one"

I guess a black C3 is cooler than a silver C6

I love C3's. I've been trying to buy a restorable C3 from a guy in my neighborhood for at least a year now.

I am lucky enough to have both, a 72 & 05. The 72 is Ontario Orange and it does get the positive comments. The 05 is Monty Red and I love that car. Both have taken 1st place for their class at local car shows.

During my club's last caravan we had a '56, a '64 and a '78 among the C5s and C6s. They got WAY more attention, I guess because you don't see them every day.
