Don't know about this vendor in particular, but some here have had problems with the stainless steel letters. Haven't seen much about the vinyl ones. Recognize it's going to be in an area where your wash mitt may disturb it.
What color is your vette? I painted the letters with a paint pen on my silver C6.
Its a silver vette, which is why I dont want the chrome lettering.
I've had vinyl lettering on my firebird for over a year and they still look great, so I'm not concerned with the vinyl being a problem.
Is there another vendor that is recommended for vinyl decals like that?
No, I didn't intend to influence you at all about which vendor to purchase from. I just wanted to mention some possibilities in case you had never used the vinyl before. You will need to depend on others here to tell you about the different vendors.

Jim, how has the paint held up to weather, washing ? Michael
I bought the stainless steel ones, instruction says bend the "vt" just very little to match the curve and utilize the primer, a must! with it it will make the letters stick very well, no problems. if you don't want ss then get the acrylic ones, NOT the vinyl
I bought the vinyl letters from Ecklers and they will not stick! But, the problem may be that I had Zaino'd the bumper earlier. I tried cleaning with alcohol and dishwashing detergent but no luck. What removes Zaino?

Whats wrong with vinyl? I've had em on my firebird for over a year and they look brand new.
ours is the vinyl and keeps coming unglued. i think im gonna get a penstriper to paint it for me...
I bought the stainless steel letter from cybervettes. Cleaned my dash board followed the instructions but the letters would not stick. Went to the hobby store and bought some black flash hobby glue. Great stuff, 30 seconds to drive. And the letters have been on ever since. The stainless steer letters I bought for the rear of the car from corvettes of Houston had to problem with them stick of the rear of the car. Whatever glue that they had on the letters was great. Still on the car since last summer and no problem. Car is a 2005 silver vette. Letters look great inside and outside.
