I got brand new F1 Runflats installed at 13k miles.
When I was apparently in a retarded state of mind, I did some doughnuts in a parking lot. Picked up a nice big nail directly in the outer sidewall. 50 miles on the the tire and it needs replacing. $500 NAIL!
Luckily tirerack.com is willing to honor the puncture warranty and replace it, so I really dodged this bullet!

I just bought some new F1's this past weekend - had them installed at TireRack in South Bend (IN). I've never seen anyone be more careful and particular about mounting and balancing. They'll have my business until I'm too old to drive. And besides the great and friendly service, the tires were on sale! Just can't ask for more.
