Default Interior color?

My wife and I are planning on an '08 C6 Coupe. Our color of choice is VY. I am thinking that Cashmere for the interior would look very nice. I am wondering how Cashmere is to keep clean. Does it show the dirt? Or would black be easier to keep clean?

I have Cashmere interior, the floormats are hard to keep clean but I think the rest isn't that bad.

Seeing as how all interiors seem to have quite a bit of black, is there any reason there couldn't be replacement black floor mats? That would reduce the amount of dirt to clean up, yes?

Yes, get the ebony Lloyd mats. They look great, and you can keep your cashmere mats pristine. The seats are not a problem.

Cashmere = more elegant, classy
Black = Traditional, racey

I have the black and it is very easy to keep clean. The Cashmere will show-off the interior more, having the contrasting colors (some panels are Black no matter what interior color you go with).

Good choice with VY...

Of course black will never show dirt, Cashmere is pretty but will get dirty. Here is what your car will look like:
My car is Mill. Yellow however.

I have the cashmere and it still looks like new after two years. However, I have purchased black floor mats for ease of cleaning.

Ebony is effortless ... unlike my black exterior ... so it's a push.

One CF member is having his interior changed b/c he found the cashmere problematic ... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1663054

I've had cashmere interior for two years and I love it. I clean it once and awhile just like my other car. I would get it again.

Of your 2 choices-- the ebony looks best, contrast is the key, and you get more of that with the ebony. We have the titanium interior & wouldnt want anything else-- but we just upgraded our '06 to the '07 two tone ebony/titanium seat covers & it is a match made in heaven!!!

Black. More contrast. Of course, the final choice is yours.

For some reason i love yellow exterior with Red interior even though GM will charge more money for this "not recommended color combination." Cashmere is a very pretty interior, it fits best with red exterior, I guess it'll go well with Yellow.

Hey, I thought that was my car until I looked closer at the deck lid.

I have black CoCo mats with natural colored dots. The natural dots are a nice color match for the cashemere interior. My wife doesn't like them; she says they look old fashioned. I love them. They wear like iron, always look clean, and sit nicely right on top of the factory mats.
