I have no back frame,which is unique in itself!I use a buffer thing between the body and the plate.Plain and simple!Not spending 60 bucks for a 50 cent piece of painted plastic!
I wanted something plain and simple and the GM body colored accessory filled the bill for me. Nice simple and clean look.
Of course that goes with the rest of the "body colored" theme I went with - Door handle bezels, rear LED spoiler and interior and under hood pieces.
I'm smitten over Monterey Red and can't get enough of it. I do need to dress out the license plate bolts and find a way to make the license plate/frame lay flat against the car to complete the LOOK.
I went with Top Flight removable front & their GM rear. Looks great! Now, I have to get the scratches out, left by the factory stock holder. My service mgr. said to use Dupont compound for clear coat. Does that sound right?
