Window Weather Stripping
The rubber weather stripping around the door windows of my 2005 Corvette looks like it is peeling.....arghhhh! Has anyone else had this problem? Car was built in June 2005, has only been hand washed and the dealer has done the detailing on it. I do drive it daily and park outside. The rest of the time it is garaged. The dealer states that it is "sun damage" and not covered by the warranty.....although he will replace it one time only. Any comments?

I treat my DD vert's rubber seals with Wurth's Rubber dressing gel for AutoGeeks. This is the equivalent of BMW's gummi pflege and will keep your seals like new. I'm not sure if it will restore the bad seals.
