Default How Do You Get

A GMID discount. Do you have to have relative at GM. It sure would be nice to have that when the 2008 come out. One can only wish I guess. Does anyone have any ideas, do I have to scan the GM plant for potential wives to get a discount on my next vette? ...that may not work out too well...who knows. : )

Any GM employee can provide you with one. The GMID program is actually gone. It was replaced last year with "GM Supplier Discount for Friends" at that start of the '07 model year. Several folks here are the forum have a certificate available from time to time. Otherwise, you can send an email to a GM employee by the name of Richard Ott. You can reach him at

richard.ott@gm.com

If he has access to any numbers he will send you a reply and ask you for the last four digits of your social security number and a few other details. When he gets one, he will send it along to you. Many of the forum vendors are currently dealing at GM Supplier prices without having to get a certificate as well so that is also an option for you.

I have just ordered my first Corvette, AO convertible. I am a GM employee and have access to "supplier for friends" certificates and can help SERIOUS buyers out. I can be reached at Greg.Simmons@GM.com. Can't wait till 4/16 when my new car rolls off the line in Bowling Green.
