Default Subdue my chicklets

Supposed to snow some more and spring fever has set in, so doing crazy crap instead of what I should be doing.

I have comp gray wheels and no chrome on the car except the exhaust tips, so the bright chrome GM chicklets had to go. I took them off, but then not so sure about the appearance.

Picked up a rattle can of 'black chrome' spray for over chrome applications and shot the chicklets. I put them back on and it is better without the chrome for the subtle appearance, but just can't decide. Any thoughts?

Chicklets off:

Chicklets on:

Yeah, leave them off. They're the ugliest thing GM ever stuck on this car.

Got them off, painted them, and still had time left over to not do what I should be doing!

IMO you should have just left them alone and found another way to fight boredom.

Am I in the minority here? I don't find them offensive in any way.

They didn't bother me that much, until I saw the exact same chicklets on a Cobalt sitting next to me in traffic.

They are comming off tonight!

You'll see the same eyesores on almost every GM car. I pulled up next to a CTS-V and being in the Vette I'm almost eye level with the bottom half of the Caddy's door and go figure the chicklet was crooked.

Maybe there should be a poll? But I don't think it's any different than the [other] badges posts that continue to beat the horse to death, some of which IMO are uglier than these. I guess it all boils down to personal preference. Funny that I got my new service manual yesterday and they actually have a section devoted to the chicklet, where to place it and how to line them up.

The leading edge of mine were getting all knicked up from stones etc and looked like complete shat, thats the main reason I yanked them off. I'm pretty sure they weren't on the 05's.

Flip them up in the air. If they land GM up put them back on, if GM down throw them away.

I'd say leave them off. I am tempted to take mine off and give them to my fiance because she is mad that the new Equinoxs come with them and her 05 didn't

So is this to say if I'm walking on the street and find a GM chicklet logo side up it's considered good luck?
