I have a pair of Piloti shoes for driving. They are more "normal" looking, but are purpose built for driving/shiftng. But, hey I'm not trying to put down these folks' product. It's not for me, but I'm sure some Corvette fanatics might want to make a statement with their shoes.
I also have a pair of "piloti" and love them will be buying more colors soon. if these shoe fit good i would purchase a pair to try.
I would probably buy a pair if I could try them on and get a good fit and if they were comfortable... blah, blah, blah. For me the problem is mail-ordering shoes, any shoes, when I can go try on my favorite Merrell's at a local store 5 miles from my house without having to mail them back for a retry if I don't guess right the first time I try them on. I'm 62, can still reach my shoes, and drive a manual but prefer to try them on. That might be your biggest challenge... mail order.
This thread is sounding like the nursing home. I got a secret "Your not going to get out of this world alive!" I say go for it! The only thing missing is the lights around the bottom that blink when you walk. Thats the pair I'd buy!
Remember: "It's never too late to have a happy childhood!"
B and E are pretty much eyesores IMO. B because of the overall styling and E because that's way too much logo although the shoe itself is all right. As others have said I don't do to much branding on anything and it must be tasteful and subdued when present. E is a good example of branding which is neither.
One thought here is that I would be more inclined to buy a shoe like this in a store where I could try it on. I choose performance over looks every time and if the shoe gave me a warm glow I would buy it even if I wasn't thrilled with the looks. You wont have buyers like that online so the looks are going to have to sell enough to create word of mouth as to their quality and fitness as a driving shoe.
Always wondered when someone would do a Corvette-themed shoe. Always saw the Puma Ferrari shoes:
Like the Ferrari shoes, though, I'm betting the Corvette shoes will have a larger appeal amongst those who do not actually own a Corvette.
For all the elders complaining, here you go... this is what everyone wore at a nursing home I once visited. Never had so many people ask me to tie their shoes:

The Corvette shoes that are posted were designed in Italy and are quite functional for driving. I have been making shoes for 25 years and I am over 50 and would wear all the designs. I will also make a more conservative looking shoe for those that have a more conservative wardrobe. All styles will be made to be comfortable when driving as well as walking.
I would like to thank everyone for the feedback and I hope to still get some more.
