Hatch pops open while driving
Anyone else have this problem?
I have a 2007 Z06, and frequently the hatch will just pop and partially release, while driving. The DIC says the "Hatch is ajar" and the trunk lights go on. The hatch is not completely released because you cant pull it open, but it does sit about 1/4 inch high after popping.
I have tried releaseing the hatch using the fob and dash switch while driving, and that doesnt work, so I know it's not either of the buttons being pressed.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is needed? Only time I've ever had this problem was when I was in my parking lot reaching for my "other fob" and I accidentally hit the trunk button on the Vette fob. The car was still running and the hatch did pop open. Was barely 1 or 2 mph though if any. Not really wanting to test the theory while driving on the freeway.
